My name is Max Eremine. I was born in Moscow, live in Atlanta, but travel often. 

Photography has become my casual hobby around 2006, my obsession in 2010, and my actual job in 2013. My current concentration is art portraiture and fashion photography. In this blog I am planning on sharing some of my images and lighting techniques, some of my inspirations (so basically - links with a few comments), whatever else comes to my mind that is photography related, and my reviews of photography gear / literature with links to Amazon/Ebay that would make it easy for you to find these items while also allowing me to make a few referral pennies here and there...  ;) 

This page is very much in early development stages, but please check back often as I hope to update it regularly and hopefully it will become a useful resource on photography.  "Photography school" might be a rather premature name for a page considering the limited amount of materials available at this time, but I figured I would start working on the brand name from the very beginning instead of going through some sort of rebranding later. 

I do not claim ultimate photography expertise, and of course have plenty of self-doubt about teaching photography. But I do teach students during private lessons and answer photography questions on a daily basis, so I figured I could make it a little more organized and official. In addition I am a firm believer in the idea that teaching something is one of the best ways to learn it, hence "learn portrait photography WITH Max Eremine" and not "FROM Max Eremine."  It's a two way street, really. 

I certainly welcome your critique, comments, or questions.

P.S. Oh, and being a non-native speaker of English, please forgive me the occasional grammatical errors (mostly articles probably... what a useless part of language... Dostoevsky wrote "Crime and Punishment" without using a single one... :) )
